if you enter a manual product text, it will not appear on a pdf that does not match the desktop language. This text should at least be printed in all languages “as is”.

as I have just tested, this error no longer exists in version 13.0.2
hi, Maho, do you have the product description in output language? if your product have description in pdf output language, then product description in the output pdf file will be automatically replace with the product description in that language.
for example,
a product with 2 language description, English and Chinese,
desktop langauge, english
a propale created, default language will be English which is same as desktop language;
input manual text in some product description.
generate pdf in Chinese.
all manual input text will be lost. English production description in propale also was replaced by Chinese product description

I just tested with invoice (crabe).
As in your example, the default language of the customer is used for the document or you set it accordingly manually. If the product has the required translation, this is used in the PDF and the additional text is used “as is”.

It really puzzled me. I search the code whole night. but still not find where to change it. just leave the description in the pdf same as shown in propale.

I have now also done some test with an offer (document azur) and an order (document einstein). Now I can see what the problem is - the product description is not copied correctly in the new language. However, this is another, perhaps new bug.
