Need to add columns in the lines of the invoice

While extra fields do give the ability to add new fields, these are added on a separate line, so e.g. for just two simple check boxes two more lines are added to the invoice details.
Is there any standard way to change it and be able to have e.g. two check boxes on the same line that are actually the tva discount etc ?
By the way which is the way to take of the SKU field ?
