No local remote access

Allô, les amis!

I am trying to access Dolibarr on a second machine in my LAN, but it is not accessible through localip/xxxxx/yyyyy as suggested by the wiki.

si cette adresse est, par exemple, 192.168.3.107, on pourra accéder à Dolibarr à partir de l’ordinateur B en tapant dans la barre d’adresse du navigateur: http://192.168.3.107/dolibarr/htdocs

Any ideas why? I am pretty sure I got the IP and the directories right … this should be straight forward :man_shrugging:

Merci :peace_symbol:

Hi,

Could you describe the “not accessible”?

My browser is unable to connect. I don’t know what other information I could give you other than … one of the machines is a VM on Oracle Virtualbox … it is using the bridge adapter and it has its own IP on the DHCP … so … it should be like any other machine in the house.

  1. Just in case you put the files of Dolibarr in the root folder of your web server you can try that, http://192.168.3.107/htdocs. Do you get anything when you try to access http://192.168.3.107/
  2. Check where your web server setings (/etc/apache2/apache2.conf and /etc/apache2/site-enable/ if you are running Apache2 on Linux)
  3. Check your server log /var/log/apache2/

Hi @langlais115

I get the same error.

I don’t exactly understand your point, but /etc/httpd/conf says my server root is /etc/httpd as I am running CentOS 8. Dolibarr has been installed on /var/www/html/dolibarr … do you think that is the problem right there?

Also according to /etc/httpd/conf DocumentRoot is "/var/www/html

When I publish a website on CentOS 8 … I see my files are on /home/myuser/public_html, but that is on another machine with a different set-up.

I checked the error and access logs and no new entries are created when I try to access the directories. So I am starting to think there it has to do with the network configuration between the VM and the host … but I have no idea what, because like I said:

Any ideas? :peace_symbol:

hi Centaro,
can you connect your server dolibarr with an other computer?
you can try it with your phone by wifi on the same LAN.
if it’s work, control road rules, permissions, ip class… can you ping server?..
does the true LAN adapter is connected ?
