Hello all
I am a new user under Dolibarr 3.9.1 and my question may looks too simple for you but i could not find any clues, over the forum or wiki.
How to disable invoicing from the point of sale module, just to insert the amount of the sales to the receipt book ? Is it any optional missing checkable case invisible in my web browser ? It is non sense for a small business to automatically throw transactions to invoices for any non professional customers, my accountant told me already, he will not agree this method of work.
Surely i missed to see the answer in the forum, i was searching a lot before to post.
Thank you for your help
Hello
I did not get any reply, perhaps i need to give more details because laws and accounting terms are different in each countries.
In Belgium in retail business when selling to private individuals customers, when it has no necessity to provide an invoice, we register all transactions to a receipt book, this one is in use for bakeries, butchers, general food stores, taverns ans many other small stores … and we make the total for the month days by days.
Without the possibility to disable invoicing, the point of sale module is unusable for a large panel of small stores.
In my case i am a TV and computer repair shop, i am selling small items and executing services mainly to private individual customers.
Thank you for your help.
Hi.
I have a POS software (windows) that use dolibarr as backoffice and support the way you work.
If you think there is a market in Belgium for that solution, please sent me an email yannis AT kotrotsios DOT com
Thank you

Hello,
I don’t understand your usecase.
If you dont want a invoice for each sell, why do you use dolibarr POS ? it should be easier to take notes in your book ? (i know i should miss something)
But if you want to keep a trace of your sells so you can calculate your totals per day, then you need to use Dolibarr, even if you dont give the invoice to the customers.
(i am pretty sure i miss something, so light my way please)
PS: since you seem to be in Belgium, note that the french forum is much more active (dolibarr.fr)
