hi
i am beginner in dolibarr
i have to make it send email, invoice and something else as localhost for my project in one of my lesson in university but i can’t set it to send email when i test the server it show this error
Server is not available at address smtp.gmailcom on port 465 - Error 0 - php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: No such host is known
plz help me i dont have anytime
Don’t you forget the dot in
smtp.gmailcom
should be
smtp.gmail.com
I change it but it still dont work i am confused. is there other set up to change or any way else

Method to use to send EMails = SMT/SMTPS
Host = smtp.gmail.com
Port = 465
SMTP ID = your gmail login (email)
SMTP Password = your gmail password
Use TLS = Yes

i found that the problem was from time out and i change both of them to 60 then it work

I’m afraid problem of sending email is not a problem inside dolibarr but with your infrastructure setup. So it is not possible for me to help you more.
If you still have problem to setup your environment, i can recommand to use a ready to use hosted version, so you will benefit support of teams that can tune infrastructure for you.
