Problem sending mails

Installing my Dolibarr

We have Dolibarr 10.0 on a GoDaddy PVS.
We cannot send email notifications.

While trying, we received the following error:
Error when sending e-mail (sender=Giraldo Angel Asociados , destinatario=margir2008@gmail.com)
Error [0]: Failed to connect with fsockopen host=ssl://smtp.gmail.com port=465 [/color][/color]

When we do a connectivity test, we get the following message:
Server not available at smtp.gmail.com on port 465 - Error 0 -

You managed to solve your problem (apparently the same one), how?

Hi,

I don’t whether this still stands as the original post is pretty old, but it looks like connexion GoDaddy->gmail is not straightforward…

Hello @margir, I have the same issue, my hosting provider is hostgator. If I solve it I will let you know. Please let me know if you solve it first.
