WE are evaluating Dolibar and have a few questions. First about our company.
In short our company sells subscriptions and products to both businesses and and consumers. We use a “Factory Rep” sales model that is 2 tiered…
Main company -> Our Regional Managers -> Factory Reps -> End user customers
Our 3 goals are:
Ease of use
Flexibility to customize
Integrated platform
-How does Dolibarr handle large databases, say 500,000 entries?
-Some of the menu labels are awkwardly worded for US english, can they be changed via language localization?
Does anyone have any advice about configuring to make the “third party” CRM section more user friendly, less confusing?
Dear Doug ofcource ksar nows better but regarding Invoicing and CRM you can say that Dolibarr is “chatty”. I suppose that it has to do with the range of different needs that has to cover.
There are a lot of external modules that you can use to get some “sortcuts” but for so many entries you have better to hire someone to customize it. If you loose for example just a minute for each entry, you will waste near to 9000 working hours. So it is better to hire someone.
They will be also helpfull for the invoice form, electronic invoicing and flexible reports that you may need
