Show barcode in ODT template?

Is it possible to display a product barcode image in an ODT template?

I know there is Print Barcode menu item, but I would like to customise the label to include other information such as product label. I was thinking a custom ODT file would be a simple way to do this, rather than having to write a module.

Maybe this can help:
CODE39 barcode type is available as a Font, so easy to integrate in docs. Disadvantage, no checksum and limited character set.

Hello fappels,

I am trying to display Invoice barcode and product barcode in the Invoice. I am trying to use {company_barcode} for company barcode. It just displays the numeric code but not the barcode. I tried changing the code in setup to CODE39 but no luck.

While I am searching for product barcode tag in ODT, Can you kindly guide me on how to display barcode please.

You need to install a code39 barcode font like this for example.

Thanks a ton for the update. I had checked the link… But can you kindly explain a bit more in detail to insert ;

  1. a QR Code / Barcode in the left top of the Invoice using ODT - when scanned to give all details about the invoice
  2. Barcode in the cell of SKU in each of line item in ODT - when scanned to give details of product / service

Thank you for the reply.

I am not able to get the display of the product barcode and customer barcode in spite of using the ODT tags:
a) {line_product_barcode} - for product barcode
b) {company_barcode} - for customer company

These are mentioned in: Create an ODT document template - Dolibarr ERP CRM Wiki

I also tried not to copy paste but to type carefully to avoid hidden characters etc. But no luck to get the barcode.

Can you kindly help whether I am missing any thing here…?

I have similar problem since i use Dolibarr. At v18.0.3 the problem still exist. Did you manage to solve it?
