Hi guys,
I am a newbie in dolibarr, so, my question might be stupid…
Is there any solution on Financial module > Special Expenses>Social Contribution>New Contribution to change the Amount field to a percentage one? It seems to me very strange to record an amount there where in fact you need a percentage as divisor factor at a base wage.
Please someone, a little guidance…
Maybe my post has been misunderstood. So, I would like to be more specific. My English it is not at a high level as I want to be.
Let’s make an exercise of how social contribution can be calculated. At a base wage an employed has to pay, let’s say the health insurance 5% of that amount.
If the base wage it is 1000 (no matter what) the health contribution must be as following:
10005/100=50 or 10005%=50 (the same “no matter what”)
So, my question is:
How do I use the amount tab to do the calculation as above? Could be percentage included into that field and if yes, how?
If the company has a bunch of employees with different wages how do I calculate the amount for each? The worst case is when they have different social contribution by signed contract.
Thanks a lot in advance.

It seems your question won’t be answered soon or later, as really few maintainers are on this forum, you could prefer the french one… ahaha !
There is a module which bases its calculation on an “extrafield” for calculating the sale price or buyprice.
I think i will find it somewhere in my github account :
…found it after many precious minutes…
If you can or can’t do something with my answer, please be so kind to tell me. Thanks !
I’ll be back soon with an answer. Thanks for your reply.
À bientôt!,
Greg
Over a short look on what did you send I figured out that I have to become more interrogative with database tables. In my opinion things will get a little bit difficult when I’ll check the traceability between those tables. Therefore, a sharp answer is excluded.
See you,
