socket support?

Installing my Dolibarr

hi, First at all… amazing app.

Im not able to install dolibarr in my 1and1 Dedicated server, I already have a installation of dolibarr in a 1and1 shared server and is working fine. but now trying to install it on my dedicated server and it is not possible.

when I enter to /htdocs/ I receive this message:

Then I try to install it. /htdocs/install/ -> /install/etape0.php

As connection failed, host or super user parameters must be wrong.

Go backward and correct wrong parameters.

this are the current settings of my MYSQL DB:

Database name db398561617
Host name localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock
Port 3316
User name dbo398561617
Description 45
Version MySQL5.0
Socket /tmp/mysql5.sock.

ok finally I just remove the port, and I left it blank after try with several kind of configurations, but is strange, because 1and1 told me that the port that I should use the port 3316, anyway I also tried with the 3306. Im using others DB that use the 3316 port.

anyway, great app, Im planning to make a donation soon.

BTW Im working on the es_CO language, the Spanish version for Colombia, Im checking and fixing all the translations and some other stuff to make it works with the regulations and laws of Colombia.

Great.
To build es_CO languages, just create a directory and put into files only strings that differs to es_ES. No need to duplicate all es_ES into es_CO.
Then, send files to eldy@users.sourceforge.net
