I wonder if I can display the “date of payment” on the list of invoices - the only date that comes close to it is “date closing” that is not corresponding to the payment date. It is strange that this particularly important information is not available (everything else is there e.g. payment type, etc.)
On the other hand if I go to the payment list I do see all payments but I can not display the associated invoice numbers?

Nope. It requires some additional coding. I’ve done it for one of my customers as a custom module, but it’s shown on customer orders list. No problem to code it for the invoces.
