Third Party Import

Using my Dolibarr

Good Evening

I am trying to import a list of companies with their details into third party , i have downloaded the template and populated the spread sheet. I go through the steps if importing up to step 5, Run simulation, after that nothing happens, it does not proceed to next step to do actual import.

Can some one tell me what i am missing.

No problem , I choose New Import

Then I choose third parties and their properties in step 2 ,Select excel import at step 3, Select the first excel spreadsheet to import. At step I check all the fields and click next step. Step 5 opens and I click in run import simulation and after that nothing happens.

Hi there!
I think your import file got a problem with the data input. Please make sure:

  1. Data input is corrected: string, number… In each field. I always using export data file, then edit, then import again.
  2. No data log error during import the file.
  3. After 2 steps above you still cannot import. Can you upload the data file in this topic.

Hi Peet,

This may not be the cause but personally I never use the excel format for this type of operation and prefer files exported as CSV. It is easier to check file content conformance to what will be imported as well. It may be worth trying that way.
