Third Party is Mandatory in Vendor Proposal

I am Trying to Create a RFP where it can be shared with multiple Vendors and Response to the Price Request. But In current Dolibarr 14.0, I see that the Third Party is mandatory…

I would like to Mark it optional and then send the RFP to multiple Vendors and based on Best response, I will create the Purchase Order.

I tried hiding the Third Party Select box from htdocs/supplier_proposal/card.php but it is marked at mandatory in backend/database level.

Is there any option/solution for this?

Would it help to create a “virtual” third party (like a vendor named “RFP Template”) and assign your template to this instance?

This is an Excellent Suggestion, Low Cost and Quick Solution :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
Only Pending Question will be the sending the RFPs to Vendors will become Manual Task, Instead of Sending Email via frontend…

Are there other options available?

Well, when you create and validate the price request for the virtual third party, you should be able to use the “duplicate” button and select a “real” third party from a list to send out the actual request as usual from the backend. :slightly_smiling_face:
