I’ve a few houndred products that I would like to change the “Libellé” for. I assumed It would be possible to export them and to edit in Excel and then just import, but it doesn’t seem to work as it is not possible to import the ID and without the ID the import module complains that the Réf. are duplicates adn I assume that if I change the Réf. there will simply be more ID added and in that way I’ve simply created dublicates.
When exporting I can choose to export the ID but when importing that is not possible. How come; what’s the point with being able to eport the ID if you can’t import it? How to get around this; how to massedit the products in Excel? Is there any module for this (I haven’ found any) ?

Is it really the way to go? Do I have to pay 178 € for a module? If this is the only way to go I’m greatly disapointed as this could be done in the SAGE that I abandond for Dolibarr.

Manipulation of the database via csv can also be doen via PhpMyAdmin but that requires some database knowledge.

Thanks. I had help from a friend to rund some SQL commands so I solved it that way. This is how I did it

LibreOffice Base also works great and it’s free. If using Windows, download the portable version so installation isn’t required.
