I congratulate the Dolibarr team on developing such a great product. We have been using Dolibarr in our company (we manufacture machines and software) since Januar 2013 with 6 users and have experienced only minor problems. We started the project by importing data from our previous system and are now working on the integration of our design and engineering department (using Solidworks). Looking forward to version 3.5.
Nice to hear it works well for you. I think that at least drawings will be no problem to integrate into Dolibarr as you have the upload function.
Not just drawings - we will import the bill of materials from solidworks, automatically update some of the product data. For example, our engineers suggest a supplier in SW and if the supplier can be identified in Dolibarr then the supplier is added to product data. The bill of materials will allow us to check our project calculation and assist our purchasing process.
