Unit of Measure (UM) Set up at a new product creation and in all product related docs (PO, Invoice, etc)

Hi,

We’re producing shoes and we want to use Dolibarr to manage our activity.
We have couple of challenges where we can’t find any solution.

One major aspect is related to Unit of measure for some of our materials (such as finished products, outsoles and others where we need to measure and consume in PAIRS (UM)).

We can’t find a way to set our UM PAIRS in New Product creation fields.

Can anyone support with a suggestion?

hi,
if you are producing, you need production modules;
For me for each pair of model, size, you produce 1 left and 1 right.
then you assemble each to create a pair .
This is a BOM;

Thank you. We are using BOMs, we have set them up. However - I refer to a product setup:

  • if I have shoes I need to put the UM for Inbound/ Consumption/ Sales in PAIRS
  • if I have soles I need to put the UM for Inbound/ Consumption/ Sales in PAIRS, same for shoelaces and other items used.
  • if I have leather, textiles, etc I need to put the UM for Inbound/ Consumption/ Sales in SQM (M2).

Currently Dolibarr allows us to just define/ use Weight, Area, Volume.
How can I set my articles in M2, PAIRS - that is my question.
