Upgrade from v16.0.4 to v17 error

I am running the upgrade https://erp.nmc.go.ke/install/upgrade.php?action=upgrade&selectlang=en_US&versionfrom=16.0.0&versionto=17.0.0

and getting the error below.

This page isn’t working

erp.nmc.co.ke is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

It has been working so well until I tried the upgrade.

Kindly guide on how to resolve.
