Where to find the shipment from Purchase order?

I make a purchase order from supplier and paid in Dolibarr system. But it looks that it doesn’t generate shipment from purchase order .Is there something I missing?

I have also noticed that there is no dispatch for good s received which used to be there with version 5.0.3 and below. I have attached a screenshot.

If stock dispatching is not there then how do you dispatch to warehouses? Can anybody give insight on this?

Hi Katie,
I got how to solve that issue. To enable stock dispatch (shipment) from purchase order go to:
Home–>Setup–>Modules–>Stock - Setup
Then for: Increase real stocks on manual dispatching into warehouses, after supplier order receipt of goods - select Yes
Then stock dispatching will appear in Supplier Order Card

Could you please check the screen shot in the attachment. I don’t know why I can not find stock dispatching working. It always empty. Meanwhile, there is no place to enter tracking number once supplier ship out the parcel. Sorry, I meet lots of quesions because I am the new user here.

I’m assuming the products you are adding are free entry not pre defined i.e with Item ref and label?
You cannot dispatch with free entry they have to be pre defined

Dear Sir, yes , you are right, I have to use free entry of type for the products because when I choose Predefined product to purchase, the system alwasy reminder me: Field ‘Product or Service’ is required or No price/qty defined for this supplier/product
And now I understand I need to add the supplier information with price into the product first then I can choose Predefined product to purchase.
This is quite difference with openerp. It is better to usePredefined product to purchase without adding the supplier into products.

In the product detail, there are only for USD price but it can not choose another currency. It is also the problem.
But DOLIBARR is already do his best and easier than another ERP system. OPENERP is very good, but much more complicate。

It is always better to have pre-defined products in Products/Services. If you have a long list you can import them using Tools–>Import. You will have to create an Excel or csv file with the products details. Have you enabled multi-currency module in Setup? Dolibarr is a multicurrency system.
