Why Can't I send an email

Hi i m in need of assistances could anybody help help me?
why can’t an email be sent out to notify me.
Could this problem be cause by my PHP installation not supported if so could someone help fix it

And where dolibarr is installed ?

Hi @ksar its on a localhost on my laptop as the server,
Here is my email configuration but i don’t know if its right, sorry i m still new
so for the smtp password and ID is it my gmail pass?

It is not possible to send email from localhost as far as I know. Please use a provider on the internet for hosting or make a connection with a local smtp server you have to setup. If you found another good way, please share.
