Add separated custom fields to customer and vendor

Hi,
Any one can help please i want to add a custom fields to customer and I want to do the same with vendor but with different fields , is there any way to this with or without modify the source code?

Both are thirdparties so you would have to add the fields to thirdparties

but there is no way to separate theme from each other ?

I don’t think so, given that both are thirdparties, and … a thirdparty can be both a customer and a vendor.
