Recently there has been 2 posts where someone had issues with running Dolibarr on Hostgator under their Baby Plan.
Maybe Hostgator and their webhosting plans is not a good place to run Dolibarr because you can not really investigate when something is not working.
I run my Dolibarr on a small Linux VPS from Hetzner.com’s cloud plan, and I pay only $4.09 pr. month - and I did not even have to sign up for a 36 months plan that renews at $16.49 pr. month - there is no binding time at Hetzner
Yeah, I have to do everything myself, security updates, install a webserver, and then install dolibarr, but my processes are not killed if they use too much CPU - they just run slower, and I can actually get the error log from Apache that can tell me if something is wrong with my installation.
I can log in as root and from their I’ve installed podman, but you can use docker as well and then run your Dolibarr as a container. You can setup that podman container running dolibarr as a systemd service, and then it automatically restarts when the machine restarts.
