I am trying yo make Dolibarr work for my company. Usually our clients (third parties) have several buildings with each of one has a location and number of floors. With our main service is inspection.
I want to make the proposal template odt to the third party to list the buidlings and location. Then the the service applied to that building. I can’t see to where buidlings and locations need to go, under an extrafield. In third parties. Or each buiding is a seperate thirdparty when i need to bill one customer. Please help
First, every thirdparty can have multiple contacts, each with individual addresses.
Second, you can perhaps use the intervention system, maybe even combined with the above multiple contacts.
Third, what if you simply had a product or service pr. address, yes that would mean with 100 customers and 10 addresses pr. customer you would have 100*10 products or services?
Maybe less can do it if you have a standard service and add an extra field to that which is the address?
Yes the first proposal might be complicated to make, but next time, just clone the previous proposal, maybe edit a little and you would be good to sell again, and again, and …
Fourth method could be a combination of the above methods but using either a Dolibarr module developed for you and your company, or possible some external code that uses the API to achieve the same.
Let us know what you end up doing such that others in the future might learn. I could see cleaning and facility management have some of the same issues as you.
