Dolismart, use Dolibarr on your Smartphone

Hello!

After several months of work, I am pleased to present my new application for Dolibarr: DoliSmart.

This application (available on iOS and Android) provides fast, seamless, and secure access to your ERP, while respecting defined authorizations.

This application is natively multilingual (based on the functionality of Dolibarr’s .langs files).

The solution requires downloading the application for free from the Android or Apple stores.

An annual subscription can be ordered from our store (pricing based on smartphone volume is possible).

Communications between Dolibarr and the mobile application are handled via Dolibarr’s APIs.

It is possible to access multiple Dolibarr applications from the application (limited to 3 environments/profiles).

A demo environment allows you to test all the application’s features.

Adapt the interface to your business needs with advanced customization directly from Dolibarr.

Using your Dolibarr graphic design

Selecting widgets on the main screens

Selecting fields on the detail screens and customizing them (renaming, highlighting, bolding)

Key Features
Dolibarr multi-account connection (up to 3 environments)

Third-party management: customers and contacts

Business document management: quotes, orders, and invoices

Product, inventory, shipment, and service management

Activity tracking: contracts, interventions, and tickets

Search and advanced navigation in all sections

Consideration of your company’s graphic design and user rights management

Advanced Features
Management of Events/Calendars associated with items

Electronic signature of interventions and shipments

Management of documents associated with items

And other features to come.

Mobile applications are already available on Apple and Android platforms, the module is available on the Dolistore.

Congratulations great work, but the License fees seem to be a bit expensive

Looks promising! Can we get this in English? A real game changer would be, if possible, a way to get a Customer’s Signature on the Sales Invoice created? Is that what Facture means? I wanna give this to my staff, put it on a tablet or phone, and the customer be given a stylus or Apple Pencil to accurately sign, when we validate the bill of sale.

Signature functionality is available in Dolibarr for service tickets and shipping documents, but not for other types of documents, which is why we don’t have it in our application…

Entering payment details directly from the app will soon be integrated, along with other key actions available from the document detail pages.

Thank you very much for your encouragement.

It is never easy to determine a fair price for software development, especially within an open-source ecosystem.
Our goal is to offer the application for €10/month while continuing to support the Dolibarr association through sales on the Dolistore.
However, currently, it is not possible to sell a module and a subscription together, which is why two separate purchases are required.

Our application currently boasts many advantages, including a flexible architecture, and we are focusing our development efforts on meeting user expectations (such as enabling users to enter data from their smartphones in a simple and intuitive way).

I think it is available for proposals too

Regarding proposals, there is also a concept of “signature,” but this doesn’t refer to a handwritten signature; it simply indicates whether the proposal has been accepted or not. To be even more precise, the field signed_status, which is used to manage this “signature” status, is not present in the llx_propal table.

For your information, our application does, however, manage the concept of proposal acceptance/rejection. It is also possible to take a photo of the signed proposal with a smartphone and upload it as a document.

@defrance I think you are mistaken, because this does indeed look like a signature to me?

From bottom of proposal

Following that link

And this is what the signature looks like

I would call that a signature. Maybe you did not enable it inside your Dolibarr installation?

I understand the concept, but we’re not talking about the same technical process. Furthermore, we’re discussing online signatures here, not signatures captured on a smartphone, and the specific field I mentioned earlier is not present.
The only way to determine if an online signature was used is by checking for data in the “online_signature_name” field. In short, yes, it does involve managing signatures for service requests and proposals, but the underlying mechanisms are different.

And, to be precise, the term “online signature” does not accurately describe a “signature captured on a smartphone,” especially considering the potential legal implications…

Edit : I just took a moment to look into what’s possible regarding proposals using the Dolibarr APIs, and unfortunately, there isn’t an API that allows us to capture the client’s signature and generate the PDF with it included.
To be transparent, we don’t have plans to work on proposals in the next version, but we will in the one after that, where it will be possible to create proposals directly from the application. We also plan to add the feature to allow the client to sign the proposal on their smartphone.

@defrance I do not understand why we keep having this discussion!

I just from my mobile follow the link to online signature in the bottom of a proposal, I signed it on my phone, and the result was that Dolibarr generated a new PDF with the signature superimposed on top of the proposal my signature at the signature location in the PDF.
Here’s a screenshot from that generated PDF with signature.

So to conclude. This statement is not true

it is available for proposals!

Because, as I said before, we are talking about two different things, and this can be seen in the interventional where both actions are present:

  • Online signature (in green)
  • Signature status (in red)

And I should also point out that there is currently no native API for performing online signatures, and that the api feature for changing the signature status is an additional functionality provided by doliSmart.

If you have a customer signing using the link, then the signed status will change
