Experience with Editing Orders After Delivery Note (Bon de Livraison)

Hello everyone,

I’ve encountered something while working with Dolibarr and wanted to share it with the community for awareness and feedback.

When a Bon de commande (order) is linked to a Bon de livraison (delivery note), it seems that the order becomes locked and cannot be modified anymore — even by users with full permissions like a commercial or sales manager.

This behavior raised some questions in our team, especially in cases where we need to make small adjustments after the delivery note has been generated.

Is there any way to edit the Bon de commande once it has a BL linked to it?

which dolibarr version, and can you provide a screenshot of the order page buttons?

Here is one of my 21.0.1 and the order is in the state below

As you can see from the screenshots, the feature to modify an order which has already a delivery attached, has been included from v21.

Some conditions need to be met, e.g. you cannot reduce an order quantity below an already delivered quantity.
