Missing BBAN/Branch Code fields for Canada in v22.0.4

Hey @MarcLaporte
Nope, No changes on my side yet. Still running 22.0.4.

All the best,

Sterling

Hello @jonbendtsen and @MarcLaporte,

Thanks again for your help!

We just updated to 24.0.1 and I can see the 3 fields in the supplier payment maintenance screen (https://crm.mydomain.com/societe/paymentmodes.php?socid=77&action=create). But, the information Requested doesn’t match the North America Bank information Standard:

  • 3-digit Institution number (code_banque) (I don’t know if that is the field named “Bank”)
  • 5-digit Transit number (code_guichet) (I don’t know if that is the field named “Transit Number”)
  • Bank Account number (number) (The field seems to be named correctly in the form)

Best Regards,

Sterling.

@Stejimenez I think you need to make a feature request at dolibarrs github issues page

Thank you @Stejimenez ! My team will review the bank ID issue described above and prepare a PR. If we need clarifications, we’ll reach out to you.

Since the database fields already exist, I’d check whether the Canadian bank account format is supported in Dolibarr 22.0.4 and whether the country-specific settings control which fields appear in the form. That may help identify why the fields are missing from the interface.

Thanks, Harry. I checked the code: the database already has fields for the bank code, transit/branch code, and account number. The issue was in the country-specific form layout: Canada was not showing the transit number as a separate field.

I’ve opened a PR (Dolibarr/dolibarr/pull/41977) to add the Canadian Institution number, Transit number, and Account number fields. It is still under review, so the change is not yet part of an official Dolibarr release.

https://github.com/Dolibarr/dolibarr/pull/41977 was merged.

Can you please try to find out what is the backport policy so we can have in 24.0.x and not have to wait for 25.0.0?
