Hi, need help.

Module Reception is Activated.

1. After creating a Purchase order From Vendors, Validating and everything, the Create “Reception” Button is not showing up…

I’m having the same problem with v20.0.3. Had been using 14.0.5 for a long time and needed to start a fresh new database so we installed v20.0.3 a couple months ago and finally getting around adding new orders and for me “Classify Reception” is also the only option. “Create Reception” is really needed as the hoops to jump through to add inventory to individual products from invoices is ridiculous. Also have Module Reception activated.

And just like that…all I had to do was give up and add to this inquiry…found the answer. You just need to choose what is appropriate to your needs.
Here’s where I found the answer:

I am experiencing same problem.

Give an idea to the reader of the "current’’ scenario of what I did.

1. VENDOR PROPSAL, reached Status = Accepted

2. PURCHASE ORDER, reached Status = Approved
   then Next Step I did was to MAKE ORDER

3. PURCHASE ORDER, reached Status = Ordered - Standby reception
   no change of buttons for create reception either.

Did I miss any configuration or activation that should trigger the change of button or to at least “unhide” the create reception button?

Previous test scenario just for the reader:
On a different PO scenario, I did clicked “classify as received”
a form came out with the Delivery Field and selected “Complete or Nothing more expected”, finally clicked “Received”

Based on these previous scenario it resulted in the following, under PO Card details.

1. no new button of reception button appeared
2. no button that it’s name to “create reception”

Thanks @Wiz this was able to unhide “Create Reception” that I was looking for.

Now I was able to do

1. Create Reception and Validate Reception as received.
2. Make Stock movement and deliver it to my Target Warehouse
3. Validated, after Validated of reception and made Stock movement the function worked and it added Physical Stocks onto my warehouse.
