I host my dolibarr through hostinger as an installed app. Previously there was an option to upgrade from hostinger panel. But they discontinued dolibarr from their installable apps.
I am now having difficultied on two things.
When I backup my dolibarr, I am getting this error
second issue is, I am trying to upgrade my test environment and followed the steps below
but it is not showing the v21 on the upgrade screen
for the upgrade,
I dowloaded v21 and extracted the files into the dolibarr folder and overwritten the files
must i upgrade incrementally? what am I missing here?
just click the start button that is purple coloured
no, it should be able to jump several versions
i did but as it says it is only upgrading to the same version
What it usually does offer is step from 18 to 19, and then it detects that it is not software version 19, so it offers upgrade from 19 to 20, and then it detects that it is not software version 20, and then it offers to upgrade from 20 to 21, which it does recognize

For your problem on the back up please do a search on the forum before posting you would have found this : Backup Error .sql.gz.err
It should be solved once you have done the upgrade or you apply the patch or you just correct your save that are done correctly even if you have an error message
